Electric drives for roller shutters and awnings have been around for over 50 years. Since then, the products have of course developed a lot further. The core and basis of an electric roller shutter is a so-called tubular motor, which is located in the winding shaft and therefore does not require any additional space in the roller shutter box. The electric drive is available in different versions to suit individual requirements.
